The Groveton Indians basketball squad scored 41 points and held the host Normangee Panthers to 37 in the Indians league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Groveton advances its record to 3-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Spurger (Spurger, TX) to face the Pirates in a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 3-4. Spurger lost 55-23 in their recent league match against Chester (Chester, TX)

The Panthers now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grapeland for a 2A Region III District 20 match on Tuesday, December 17.
