The McDonough Warhawks basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Hampton Hornets to 50 in the Warhawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warhawks now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's Landing Christian Academy for a AAAA Region 2 game on Friday, December 13. McDonough will play a Chargers team coming off a 63-29 league loss to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Hampton falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Region 2 game on Friday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-5. Locust Grove lost 82-24 in their recent league game against Jones County (Gray, GA)
