The Hawkins Hawks basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Ore City Rebels to 10 in the Hawks league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hawks now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to McLeod for a 2A Region III District 21 game on Friday, December 13. Hawkins will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 33-18 league loss to Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-10.

With the loss, Ore City falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Rebels host Harleton (Harleton, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a 2A Region III District 21 game on Friday, December 13. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 6-2. Harleton won 43-28 in their recent league game against Linden-Kildare (Linden, TX)
