The Marshall Bobcats basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Jasper Pirates to 51 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bobcats now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tuckerman for a 2A Region 2 game on Friday, December 13. Marshall will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-37 league win over Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Jasper falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Eureka Springs (Eureka Springs, AR) to confront the Highlanders in a non-league game on Thursday, December 12. The Highlanders go into the game with a record of 2-10. Eureka Springs lost 50-21 in their recent league game against Life Way Christian (Centerton, AR)
