In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Kearney Bearcats basketball team scored a good 44-35 triumph over the Lincoln Southeast Knights.
The Bearcats (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs go into the A District 2 contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Burke was toppled by Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE), 72-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights confront the Columbus Discoverers (Columbus, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Lincoln Southeast will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Discoverers go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Westview (Omaha, NE).
