The Lanier Longhorns basketball squad (Sugar Hill, GA), was nudged 49-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Milton Eagles (Milton, GA)
With the victory, Milton advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA) to meet the Cougars in a AAAAA Region 7 battle on Friday, December 13. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 7-5. Chattahoochee won 31-21 in their recent league battle against Seckinger (Buford, GA)
The Longhorns now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gainesville for a AAAAA Region 7 battle on Friday, December 13. Lanier will meet a Red Elephants squad coming off a 45-30 league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Red Elephants record now stands at 6-2.
