In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lockport Porters basketball team scored a close 41-34 triumph over the Lincoln-Way Central Knights.
The Porters (8-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins go into the SouthWest Suburban contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln-Way East nipped Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 69-21, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban contest, on Thursday, December 12. Lincoln-Way Central will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 64-46 league loss to Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL).
