The Nacogdoches Dragons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Lufkin Panthers to 58 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now have a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Whitehouse for a 5A Region II District 10 game on Friday, December 13. Nacogdoches will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 50-43 non-league loss to Longview (Longview, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Lufkin falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Tyler (Tyler, TX) to confront the Lions in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Friday, December 13. The Lions go into the game with a record of 13-4. Tyler won 64-47 in their recent league game against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, TX)
