The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) and the host Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME), observed Oceanside's basketball team knock off Medomak Valley by a score of 66-48.

The Mariners (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Camden Hills (Rockport, ME). The Windjammers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Camden Hills prevailed over Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME), 59-11, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) in a B South challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Medomak Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 50-46 non-league win over Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME).
