The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Rock Island Rocks to 26 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ironmen now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Richwoods for a Big Twelve game on Thursday, December 12. Normal Community will play a Knights team coming off a 50-31 league loss to Normal West (Normal, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Rock Island falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Rocks travel to Alleman (Rock Island, IL) to play the Pioneers in a Western Big 6 game on Thursday, December 12. The Pioneers go into the game with a record of 6-2. Alleman won 53-23 in their recent league game against Moline (Moline, IL)
