North Carolina High School Basketball - Northeast Academy nips Pungo Christian Academy

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Northeast Academy Eagles basketball team scored a close 51-44 win over the Pungo Christian Academy Raiders.

The Eagles (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy (Windsor, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Bethel Assembly Christian Academy was tipped by Trinity Christian (Greenville, NC), 57-19, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel contest, on Friday, December 13. Pungo Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 55-31 league win over Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC).
