The Port Aransas Marlins basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Pettus Eagles to 38 in the Marlins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Marlins now have a 14-6 record. They play next when they host Woodsboro for a 2A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, December 13. Port Aransas will confront a Eagles team coming off a 48-32 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Pettus falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a 2A Region IV District 31 game on Friday, December 13. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 12-5. Skidmore-Tynan won 39-37 in their recent league game against Refugio (Refugio, TX)
