Tennessee High School Basketball - Unicoi County defeats Volunteer

The Unicoi County Blue Devils (Erwin, TN) basketball were winner over the host Volunteer Falcons (Church Hill, TN), 46-28 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mitchell for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. Unicoi County will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 58-46 non-league loss to Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Mountaineers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Volunteer falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Cherokee (Rogersville, TN) to play the Chiefs in a 3A District 2 bout on Friday, December 13. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Cherokee lost 64-31 in their recent non-league bout against Dobyns-Bennett (Kingsport, TN)
