North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashley victorious over South Brunswick

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle basketball team scored a good 40-24 triumph over the South Brunswick Cougars.

The Screaming Eagle (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, St. Pauls was toppled by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 55-26, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cougars confront the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. South Brunswick will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 62-25 non-league win over Topsail (Hampstead, NC).
