In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Carver Yellowjackets basketball team scored a good 65-49 triumph over the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix.
The Yellowjackets (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Bengals go into the contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Triad Math and Science Academy was toppled by College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 53-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Phoenix confront the Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) in a contest, on Friday, December 13. Winston-Salem Prep will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Firebirds go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 55-50 non-league loss to North Stokes (Danbury, NC).
