In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Clover Blue Eagles basketball team scored a close 33-27 triumph over the South Point Red Raiders.
The Blue Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Grizzlies go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, High Point Academy nipped Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC), 53-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. South Point will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mountaineers go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).
