The Portales Rams basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Melrose Buffaloes to 34 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rams now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Eunice for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.
With the loss, Melrose falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Tatum (Tatum, NM) to confront the Coyotes in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Coyotes go into the game with a record of 0-0.
