North Carolina High School Basketball - Starmount nips West Wilkes

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Starmount Rams basketball team scored a close 37-32 triumph over the West Wilkes Blackhawks.

The Rams (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, North Wilkes was tipped by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 59-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a contest, on Friday, December 13. West Wilkes will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
