    Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Eastern Randolph Wildcats (Ramseur, NC), 63-47 in a non-league match.

    With the victory, Asheboro advances its record to 6-3 on the year. The Blue Comets travel to Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 0-3.

    In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 13. Eastern Randolph will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 60-38 non-league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
