West Virginia High School Basketball - Braxton County defeats Roane County

The Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) basketball were winner over the host Roane County Raiders (Spencer, WV), 67-57 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Clay County for a Little Kanawha - South bout on Friday, December 12. Braxton County will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 73-62 league win over Poca (Poca, WV). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.

The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Sherman (Seth, WV). The Tide come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
