North Carolina High School Basketball - Bunker Hill sneaks past Patton

The Bunker Hill Bears basketball team scored 34 points and limited the visiting Patton Panthers to 29 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Maiden for a Western Foothills 4A/5A bout on Friday, December 12. Bunker Hill will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 81-68 league loss to North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-1.

The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers come into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A test with a 0-6 record. In their last test, East Burke was nipped by Freedom (Morganton, NC), 83-43, in a non-league test.
