In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Grafton Bearcats basketball team scored a good 68-51 triumph over the Lincoln Cougars.
The Bearcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Southern topped Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 50-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cougars battle the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Lincoln will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 65-55 non-league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV).
