In Wednesday's league test, the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) basketball squad trounced the host Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV), by a tally of 98-28.

The Vikings now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Sissonville for a Cardinal bout on Friday, December 12.

With the loss, Lincoln County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to encounter the Wildcats in a Cardinal test on Tuesday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-0.
