Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Stonewall Jackson Generals (Quicksburg, VA), 70-36 in a non-league contest.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians go into the Shenandoah contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Fort Defiance was trounced by Page County (Shenandoah, VA), 68-59, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Generals confront the Redeemer Classical Griffins (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 12. Stonewall Jackson will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
