Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Clarksville Tigers (Clarksville, TX), 54-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Alvarado upgrades its record to 8-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to play the Porcupines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 14. The Porcupines come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Springtown won 58-54 in their recent non-league bout against Reagan County (Big Lake, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Whitewright Tigers (Whitewright, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. Clarksville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 47-41 non-league win over Fannindel (Ladonia, TX).
