The Shawnee Braves basketball team (Springfield, OH), was overwhelmed 58-21 in Saturday's league battle with the host Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH)
The Chieftains now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Big Walnut for a non-league battle on Monday, December 13. Bellefontaine will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 54-8 league win over Franklin Heights (Columbus, OH). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
The Braves (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH). The Pioneers come into the Central Buckeye - Kenton Trail battle with a 5-2 record.
