Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Colerain Cardinals (Cincinnati, OH) and the visiting Middletown Middies (Middletown, OH), saw Colerain's basketball squad knock off Middletown by a tally of 47-28.

With the victory, Colerain improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH) to play the Thunderhawks in a Greater Miami challenge on Wednesday, January 5. The Thunderhawks come into the challenge with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Middies play the Cincinnati Christian Cougars (Fairfield, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 13. Middletown will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 51-9 non-league loss to Middletown Christian (Franklin, OH).
