The Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) basketball knocked off the host Frontier Regional Red Hawks (South Deerfield, MA), 54-40 in Sunday's league test.
The Senators (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Narragansett Regional (Baldwinville, MA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Narragansett Regional went down by Gardner (Gardner, MA), 91-29, in a non-league test.
The Red Hawks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Southwick-Tolland for a non-league test on Monday, December 12.
