The Floyd County Buffaloes basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Blacksburg Bruins to 53 in the Buffaloes non-league victory on Monday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenvar for a Three Rivers contest on Wednesday, December 13. Floyd County will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 71-44 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-3.

The Bruins (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots come into the River Ridge contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry was nudged by Fleming (Roanoke, VA), 74-60, in a non-league contest.
