Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) and the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), saw Central's basketball squad knock off Penns Valley Area by a count of 57-49.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Harmony Area (Westover, PA) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 13. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Harmony Area won 63-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Huntingdon Bearcats (Huntingdon, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-38 league win over Bellwood-Antis (Bellwood, PA).
