In Monday's league outing, the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), by a margin of 71-44.
The Rebels (14-3) will now prepare for their outing against Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR). The Redskins go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Pocahontas was trounced by Highland (Hardy, AR), 58-38, in a league outing.
The Thunderbirds now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Marmaduke for a 2A Region 3 outing on Friday, December 15. Cross County will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Paragould (Paragould, AR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 10-9.
