The Fairfield Central Griffins tipped the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds basketball team by a final score of 48-41 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Griffins face the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 12. Fairfield Central will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Diamond Hornets enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 61-41 non-league win over Eau Claire (Columbia, SC).

With the defeat, South Aiken moves to 1-8 on the year. The Thoroughbreds host Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA) to face the Musketeers in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 12.
