Texas High School Basketball - Fort Bend Hightower fells George Ranch

Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 50-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Hightower upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Hurricanes host Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX) to clash with the Knights in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Friday, December 15. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Longhorns clash with the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, December 15. George Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Randle (Richmond, TX).
