Negaunee Miners (Negaunee, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 48-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Negaunee upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Miners host Marquette (Marquette, MI) to clash with the Redmen in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Redmen go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Marquette lost 55-50 in their recent non-league bout against Hartland (Hartland, MI)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Manistique Emeralds (Manistique, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Gladstone will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Emeralds go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 69-35 league loss to Iron Mountain (Iron Mountain, MI).
