Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Hyndman Charter School Hornets (Hyndman, PA), 49-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hancock upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Bishop Walsh (Cumberland, MD) to play the Spartans in a Freelance challenge on Friday, December 15. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 0-4.

Next up, the Hornets play the Salisbury Elk Lick Elks (Salisbury, PA) in a Western Pennsylvania - Southern challenge, on Tuesday, December 19. Hyndman Charter School will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
