The Hempstead Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Hicksville Comets to 40 in the Tigers league victory on Monday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Floral Park Memorial for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 13. Hempstead will battle a Knights team coming off a 65-47 non-league win over Malverne (Malverne, NY). The Knights record now stands at 4-2.
The Comets (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Freeport (Freeport, NY). The Red Devils come into the Section 8 AA-1 contest with a 2-2 record.
