The Veritas Classical Academy Lions (Beaumont, TX) basketball nipped the host Lighthouse HomeSchool Lions (Port Arthur, TX), 62-57 in Monday's non-league test.
The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Hull-Daisetta (Daisetta, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 1-8 record. In their last test, Hull-Daisetta was tipped by Warren (Warren, TX), 63-21, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sabine Pass for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Lighthouse HomeSchool will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 84-37 non-league win over Chester (Chester, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 7-6.
