Alabama High School Basketball - Macon-East Montgomery Academy succumbs to Lowndes Academy

The Lowndes Academy Rebels topped the host Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights basketball team by a final score of 38-30 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Sparta Academy Warriors (Evergreen, AL) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Lowndes Academy will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.

With the defeat, Macon-East Montgomery Academy moves to 3-5 on the year. The Knights host Springwood (Lanett, AL) to face the Wildcats in a AISA AAA Region 1 game on Wednesday, December 13. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 9-1. Springwood won 59-55 in their recent non-league game against Lakeside School (Eufaula, AL)
