Mize Bulldogs (Mize, MS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stringer Red Devils (Stringer, MS), 67-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mize upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host North Forrest (Hattiesburg, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a 2A Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-3. North Forrest won 44-22 in their recent non-league bout against Seminary (Seminary, MS)

Next up, the Red Devils clash with the Mississippi School for the Deaf Bulldogs (Jackson, MS) in a 1A Region 7 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Stringer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 61-49 non-league loss to Illinois School for the Deaf (Jacksonville, IL).
