Watertown Cyclones (Watertown, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY), 80-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Watertown upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Cyclones host Fulton (Fulton, NY) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Fulton won 75-51 in their recent league bout against Baldwinsville (Baldwinsville, NY)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier B bout, on Friday, December 15. South Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 73-49 league win over Indian River (Philadelphia, NY).
