Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA), 45-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central Springs upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to West Fork (Sheffield, IA) to clash with the Warhawks in a Corn Bowl bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Warhawks go into the bout with a record of 2-2. West Fork won 49-42 in their recent non-league bout against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Eagle Grove Eagles (Eagle Grove, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lake Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 64-15 league loss to Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA).
