Ursuline Fighting Irish (Youngstown, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Chaney Cowboys (Youngstown, OH), 63-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Ursuline upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Fighting Irish host Howland (Warren, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Howland lost 66-52 in their recent non-league bout against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH)
Next up, the Cowboys play the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Chaney will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 70-34 league win over McDonald (McDonald, OH).
