The Denver Academy Mustangs basketball team (Denver, CO), was overwhelmed 53-23 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers (Cripple Creek, CO)
The Pioneers now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cotopaxi for a 2A/1A West Central battle on Friday, December 15. Cripple Creek-Victor will battle a Pirates team coming off a 50-12 non-league win over Lake County (Leadville, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 4-0.
The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Twin Peaks Charter Academy (Longmont, CO). The Timberwolves come into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Twin Peaks Charter Academy trounced Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver (Denver, CO), 41-20, in a non-league battle.
