Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) and the host Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR), saw Riverside's basketball squad wallop Cross County by a tally of 71-16.

With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR) to play the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Pocahontas won 49-42 in their recent league battle against Highland (Hardy, AR)

The Thunderbirds (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR). The Greyhounds come into the 2A Region 3 battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Marmaduke was overwhelmed by Rector (Rector, AR), 60-43, in a league battle.
