The Okaw Valley Timberwolves basketball team (Bethany, IL), was nudged 37-33 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Cumberland Pirates (Toledo, IL)
The Pirates now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cerro Gordo/Bement for a Lincoln Prairie battle on Thursday, December 14. Cumberland will confront a Broncos team coming off a 42-17 league win over Unity Christian (Decatur, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 8-2.
The Timberwolves (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] (Kansas, IL). The Titans come into the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] was nudged by Paris (Paris, IL), 28-20, in a non-league contest.
