Fairfield Mules (Fairfield, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eldorado Eagles (Eldorado, IL), 48-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fairfield upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Mules travel to Richland County (Olney, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Richland County won 60-28 in their recent league bout against Marshall (Marshall, IL)

Next up, the Eagles play the Flora Wolves (Flora, IL) in a Black Diamond - East bout, on Thursday, December 14. Eldorado will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 0-11 record after their 52-42 league loss to Edwards County (Albion, IL).
