In Monday's non-league outing, the Hicks Pirates (Leesville, LA) basketball squad edged the host Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA), by a margin of 75-68.
The Pirates (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Glenmora was tipped by Anacoco (Anacoco, LA), 62-53, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Midland for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 19. Fairview will clash with a Rebels squad coming off a 68-30 non-league win over Iota (Iota, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 9-5.
