Virginia High School Basketball - Tandem Friends overwhelmed by Highland

The Highland Hawks basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the visiting Tandem Friends Badgers to 11 in the Hawks league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madeira for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Highland will battle a Snails team coming off a 45-35 league loss to Holton-Arms (Bethesda, MD). The Snails record now stands at 3-2.
The Badgers (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield School (The Plains, VA). The Fighting Owls come into the Greater Piedmont contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Wakefield School triumphed over Trinity at Meadow View (Falls Church, VA), 29-17, in a non-league contest.
