Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Springwood Wildcats (Lanett, AL) and the host Lakeside School Chiefs (Eufaula, AL), saw Springwood's basketball squad knock off Lakeside School by a tally of 58-48.

With the victory, Springwood improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL) to play the Knights in a AISA AAA Region 1 challenge on Thursday, December 14. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Macon-East Montgomery Academy lost 64-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL)

Next up, the Chiefs play the Southern Academy Cougars (Greensboro, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Lakeside School will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
