The Rector Cougars (Rector, AR) basketball knocked off the host Marmaduke Greyhounds (Marmaduke, AR), 60-43 in Monday's league test.

The Cougars (3-6) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs go into the 2A Region 3 test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Buffalo Island Central went down by Earle (Earle, AR), 66-44, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they host Cross County for a 2A Region 3 test on Thursday, December 14. Marmaduke will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 71-16 league loss to Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-7.
